The Mandarin service started on the 10th of March 2002, with Pastor Hong Chi Her leading a team of committed sisters and brothers towards a common goal.

The Mandarin service hopes to gather a group of believers who aim to establish a closer relationship with God, and under the influence of the Holy Spirit, to grow to become more Christ-like through His love. In one accord, to spread the Gospel both nationally as well as internationally to display the grace, the truth and the love of God.

When you enter the service:

- You will be warmly greeted with sincerity and smiles by our usher and welcome teams.

- Our pre-service prayer commences at 12.45pm, and together with other prayer warriors, to enter His courts and kneel before Him in uninterrupted prayer. You can also choose to confide in our spiritual leaders who will be more than willing to lend a listening ear and provide encouragement and advices, at the same time, earnestly seeking God’s favor.

- You will be brought into God’s presence by our anointed worship team, and together in spirit and sincerity, to offer songs of praise and worship unto His name.

- You will also hear about God’s marvelous work in many through the testimonies shared by our brothers and sister, and also prophecies and sermons for your guidance and growth in Christ.

- You will find a Spirit-filled home here, together with brothers and sisters in Christ as we exercise love towards one another.

- You will be cared for, discipled to become a follower of Christ, as well as to prepare you to be a willing and living vessel for the Lord.

Many Chinese-school students from Singapore and Malaysia as well as the People’s Republic of China had found their place in this church – a place where they belong. On top of that, the Mandarin service do provide special arrangements for young adults who are able to converse in Mandarin, however not fairly adept in reading and writing the language, to be able to grow and serve in this ministry.
