Since its inception, when COSBT moved to its new church building at Bukit Timah, the English Service has had a weekly session with vibrant praise and worship and anointed messages and ministry from our pastors and invited speakers. Many have come to experience HIS presence and been ministered to by HIS word and Spirit.

It has been a great blessing for many to be renewed by HIS amazing love which in turn has nurtured members to spill this amazing grace onto others through the sharing of the gospel, in local outreach or overseas mission trips, or simply through mutual fellowship, especially in our regular cell groups and other special functions.

About Pastor Tim Gibson
Pastor Tim grew up in a traditional Church of England home in the United Kingdom but accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour when he was 11 years old (1976). In 1987, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with Management from Imperial College, London, but felt the Lord's calling into full-time ministry.

The Lord led him to Singapore in September 1988 to go through a Bachelor's Course in Theology, which he attained in 1990.  After that, he represented World Horizons missions in Singapore along with his Singaporean Chinese wife, Shendy. The Lord has given them three beautiful children Melody, Gideon and Matthew.

Although Pastor Tim has been ministering in COSBT since the late 1990s, he only joined as a full-time pastoral staff in 2001, replacing Pastor Mark Geppert as the English Service pastor  He was appointed as the pastor for the English service in September 2004 and has now completed an in-ministry Masters of Religious Education.
